Weather, night and events

The island runs on your real clock, so sunrise, sunset and night happen when they do where you are. The weather changes for everyone at the same time.

Day and night

After dark the lamps come on and fireflies come out. Some fish only bite at night, and some only during the day.

Weather

It can be sunny, cloudy, rainy, stormy or foggy. Fish bite faster in rain and storms, and a few only show up in certain weather. Chat tells you when it changes.

Feeding frenzies

For the first five minutes of every hour, fish bite faster and rare catches are more likely. A badge shows above the clock while it's on.

Events

Now and then a seasonal event comes to the island with its own fish. What's new in the game tells you what's coming.
